Unopened lyophilized peptides are commonly stored frozen (often around −20°C) and protected from light and moisture. After reconstitution, stability depends on the peptide, solvent, concentration, and temperature—labs should validate storage conditions for their specific protocol. Do not assume room-temperature stability unless your method supports it.

Purity is typically reported from analytical methods such as HPLC and reflects the relative amount of the target peptide versus related impurities in the sample. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) may include purity, identity checks, and other lot-specific results. Higher purity reduces interference in sensitive assays but does not change the RUO status of the material.

A COA is lot documentation summarizing analytical results for a specific batch—often identity, purity, and related quality data. TSMS Labs provides COAs on request so labs can keep records aligned with their quality systems.
